Cheers, I've dropped them an email and they should know the answer.

Heard on the grapevine it was a 6 monthly test, which would make them hardly
worth getting on maintenance costa alone.

How much do they cost, then? I checked that link but they didn't appear to
be selling.
I was only talking about them last weekend, after I'd slipped on the gravel
while carrying my 15 litre steel cylinder on my shoulders...
Nearly did the splits!

2 x 4.7L with 232 bar rebreather pair valves
816 euro, including 69 euro shipping cost. Worked out £700 exactly on
paypal conversion!

Biggest problem is they are positively buoyant in the water hence needing
the weight belt from hell to compensate.

They're not cheap are they!

I didn't really expect them to be cheap though. So looks like the main
advantage would be you could have a much lighter twinset, say 2 x 9L because
one wouldn't be enough. Interesting that they don't say how heavy they are.

I'll put a pair on my Christmas list. You never know!

Thanks,
Steve

4.7L is 3.8kg empty. Compares with a 3L steel at 4.5kg empty. Makes the 3L
1kg negative in the water but the 4.7 is 1kg positive, so floats.
